    Sweet.

    Andrew, nice digs
Gives new meaning to the term bachelor pad.
Just the basics, but nice choices,( especially the sheet-and-blanket-less blow-up bed.).

  • Raul

That happened to me once. Then like Andrew. I quit working out. It is too painful.. and dangerous.

people can get hurt doing what you did
    exercising is too cruel

  • Tom

You're all stupid. Exercise is only dangerous if you do it wrong. You start out slowly and work your way up gradually. He should have started lifting on a bench. A little cardio can't heart either. Andrew should try again, but be sane. Mix in some fun recreational type activities too. Listen to music with lots of rhythm that makes you feel good like you can do anything. And make sure you stretch well before and after with warm-ups and cool-downs.

    • Tom

Woops, I mean “A little cardio can't *hurt* either.” Talk about a Freudian slip, huh? Gee-wiz.

The only way to get back to normal is rest up a bit, then work your muscles again. I remember one morning after the first soccer practice of the season, helping a friend move a house full of stuff to a barn up the road. I made about 25 trips up and back and each time, I could feel I was a little stronger, a little less sore than the time before.

I'd suggest you stick to the dumbbells for a while and maybe try some machines for heavier weight, which is a great stress antidote in the Election-driven times, and makes it impossible you will drop a barbell on yourself. Your President has been shown on TV benching 190 five times. Make that your first goal to beat. Then you can look down on him even more.
