It does seem like a brave new world out there. Glad you'll be in DC for the inauguration...been following you and know your a huge Obama supporter.

So sweet to see so much activity on the SD site. Are MOS's and interviews of interesting people on the agenda??
  • "How would MLK react to Obama’s inauguration?"
The good Reverend King would urge President Obama to end the war in Iraq and to make serious lasting change fighting poverty in this country. If he was alive today he would still be a champion of social justice and progressive causes that would benefit all of God's children. He would be the constant moral conscience of the White House and congress to urge them to do the right thing and get serious about issues of war, peace and poverty. I personally believe that we can honor the memory of Dr. King by taking in on yourself to hold our government accountable to make the social changes that they promised in their elegant words during the election. I believe that Reverend King would tell us that the hard work is not over but the hard work begins now.
  • Do you think the average American will be inspired to participate more in community service activities under the Obama administration?
  • It is bittersweet to realize that Reverend King would have lived to see President Obama's election had survived.

Your egg cracking skills are in need of improvement.

I personally celibate Major General Smedley Butler's birthday and the late Senator Paul Welstone's birthday. Both are heroes of mine.
  • Haha! Yes. I'm not exceedingly talented at the culinary arts...
