Amanda on the Street: Superpower

  • Amanda on the Street, Video

  • Mike

I had a few superpowers in mind, like the ability to read minds or to see the future, but then thought what if I didn't like what I read or saw?

exactly, Mike! That's my whole problem with “superpowers”… what if they totally depressed you! Ha!

  • Juan

Although if I had known what would happen at certain sporting events, I could have saved months, weeks, days, or hours thinking someone or some team would win when they don't. This year's Masters comes to mind. Three hours of my life I'll never get back.

  • Mike

    But I digress.

    “LOL like Benjamin Booton.”

  • jimmulrony

Yeah, it amazed me how many people wanted to read minds. That is so very dangerous. I'm quite sure most of us kind of “get it” when we interact with others…you know…you can tell how it's going most of the time. Really don't need the gory details.

Venice beach is fertile pickin's for interviewing strangers, though. Always so interesting. Beautiful as ever, Amanda.

  • jimmulrony

Especially liked that rollerskating guy blasting behind you with his jacket flying in his outstretched arms like a banner.

    Other nice new features:

Bigger scroll and “robot voice” for the internet comments.
Waves crashing over the last Oxmour logo.

I prefer to ask “what IS your super power” because we can all do more than we believe we can. When we were children, we had far fewer limits.
