  • It's a creepy thought, to know that it's happening faster than you could ever think, due to the fact that, as you said, it's like a river. You put some info and then it gets carried through the social/interactive flow and then, who knows where your info ends up, you can only control it at the spigot (the info you want to make public), but from then on it's free flow.

I'm sure that as people see that it may be impossible to control at 100%, behavior will change. Eventually.

My only regret is being on facebook, account canceled long ago.
  • Excellent! Excellent! Thanks.
  • Rob
Wow you mean there is more to you then I already know? WTF, I thought we had this symbiotic relationship, that we were kindred spirits who made love daily just one universe over and to the right? Knowing in another plane of existence we are soul mates makes life here in this crappy one a little easier to take.

Oh, wait did I type that out load?

Love you Amanda, you are the interweb, podcast queen extraordinaire.! :)

I think Amanda put the V in blog
  • Robert
I'd reveal just about anything, so long as it has relevancy; but then, I don't have much to hide (or do I? ;) As good communication goes: Know your audience...

The world has changed - and in large part to you being one of the founders of that change...putting pod in the word podcast. :D
  • Rich
    awesome!
    hilarious
    and awesome!
  • This was my favorite vid from you this year. Great job!

It's gonna be said when you become super famous and less accessible. I have a feeling you will handle it well.
  • unimatrixZxero
The other question might be do you feel properly exposed. This is flickr after all :P

And to answer yours no not really.

    I loved this vid.
Pertinent discussion beautifully done by a beautiful person and her alter-ego(s). Food for thought.

What TMI stands for ? on-line exhibitionist or attention wh**e ? Just like to show what I am doing (music, arts) and tell people what I like ... The only places where I lurk are on some forum, though most of the time I have huge post counts ... I think I am too inconstant and selfish to follow people lives , but with all these twitter and facebook updates it reminds me that other people are living too ! :)
  • My apprehension re: online privacy is written all over my face. I de-tag, I edit, I delete...I manage my online personality.
  • Peter
This is a great era to be a narcissist. I should know.
  • AhtomicElroy
you're all on a need to know basis.
  • Jennifer
The less exclusive my networks, the more banal the conversation. I miss the days of Tribe's secret online socieities. I met my husband there based on his incredibly personal displays on his profile. You wouldn't catch either of us displaying anything more than superficial or BSP-ish these days.
  • liked the video. been having the online privacy conversation with real-world friends for awhile now. control or be controlled
  • J
I some times hold back on my podcast! I hold back some things. I do not want to upset my friends on the left or the right, am I becoming boring? I just want to entertain>:o)
  • Jaan
    I do love the notebook!
  • vonbrucken
good show as always, my only advice would be avoid parties with facebook friends if you are going to get drunk :)
  • Jaan
