  • It's strange to hear but probably spending the money, on anything not just a phone, will in the end make good for the economy, it's also sounds strange that someone would spend money on a phone they probably don't need unless they don't have one, they are getting the better part of this gadget introduction, new phone owners. That said, I think I will trade up for a 3GS when my contract expired in November.
  • My iPhone 3GS is the best phone that I have ever had..EVER. The really cool thing is that I know the iPhone will keep getting better.

Sorry I am a Blackberry fan LOL; But if I were not spending this money I'd be saving it for my son or inviting Amanda for dinner
  • d) nothing compared to the palm pre

I dont thing the new I Phone is a economy booster but rather I am wondering why everybody seems to be complaining about unempolyment and how bad the ecconomy is and than have the money to spend it on something absolut not neccesary like a new cell phone.
    But thats everybodies choice.

    d) Not worth the money if you already own an iPhone 3G. The advancements in the hardware dont seem worth the extra money plus there are no incentive plans for current iPhone users to upgrade

The first new Apple product that doesn't rely on its looks to make you go "wow."

the future. but most are just playing catch up at this point

I disagree that it's not worthwhile, I had a 3G and find the 3GS a very potent upgrade. Though, I use the video capture feature extensively. The side benefit is also an iPhone that is a magnitude faster for all my previously owned macs. It's like the old CPU upgrade days when every generation was a epic speed increase.

is the 3gs having a significant effect on the economy anyways?

    b) I'll get along fine with my Blackberry. someday when all the bugs are gone and the BB is truly obsolete and the iPhone comes down in price, then maybe I'll still end up with something else *haha*
  • i wasn't going to get it.... but.... i just can't stand seeing other ppl use the video feature and not having it. i'm wavering... ahhhh

I just dropped my 3G and scratched the screen.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, is there an app for that?
  • D. 3G(s) S usually means in tech terms that it's an inbetween model. I'm waiting for the 4G. My 8G Classic is working fine.
  • Poor Apple addicts... someone needs to get them some Appadone!
  • it's the future and it's here!
