D. 3G(s) S usually means in tech terms that it's an inbetween model. I'm waiting for the 4G. My 8G Classic is working fine.

I disagree that it's not worthwhile, I had a 3G and find the 3GS a very potent upgrade. Though, I use the video capture feature extensively. The side benefit is also an iPhone that is a magnitude faster for all my previously owned macs. It's like the old CPU upgrade days when every generation was a epic speed increase.
