  • she's lovely with those sunglasses, at the beach we can see many people wearing their sunglasses and its a tradition for some.

got my eye on some Rx Maui Jims for $450.00. that's a lot for me, but worth every penny. =) (now I just gotta come up w/ the dough)
  • xjv
    $200
  • $10 because I always lose/break them.
  • I paid nearly $300 on a pair of sunglasses. They scratch just as easily as a $10 pair. :)
  • $25 for non Rx. Up to $100 for Rx.
  • $125
  • no more than 150
  • $10 because I tend to lose and/or end up sitting on them...
  • maximum $15 - they break so easily no matter the brand, so what's the point in investing?

    Keep it up Ace!
  • 20 dollars. i spend money on suits, dress shirts and shoes. but not sunglasses. 20 dollars may be 2 much 4 me
  • For everyday, fashion sunglasses, $25 tops - I lose them too much. But I paid $160 for my Rudy Project running/cycling shades
  • my GF got me a pair of Bvlgari sunglasses $500 +$100 for polarized prescription lenses, I have had them for 9 years now.
  • $5. They will get lost or broken no matter how much you spend. Better to spend your money on circus peanuts. Good investment.

If somebody else *dropped* a pair of sunglasses I might pick 'em up, if they were nice. Otherwise, not much :)

I have a weird bump on my nose that makes all glasses look askew. Unfortunately, I always forget it's there until I put glasses on. I got it in college when my girlfriend accidentally (?) rammed my head into the ground, thereby concussing me.

None, either does my wonderful bride (s)
  • i wouldn't pay more than $20 on sunglasses.
  • i still have a pair of revos that cost me $250 11 years ago. lately i've bought cheap crap for $15 but i dont recommend it.
  • i hate spending more than $20 because i end up losing them or they break... i'm okay with that if they are cheap!
  • Maybe $100? They're just friggin' sunglasses.
  • I go through so many pair of sunglasses a year that I hate paying more than $15 for them.
  • probably $2 sunglasses from $2 dollar shop here in Wellington . Hehehe!!
  • like most of the people you asked $10...tho for prescription sunglasses, $100 or a little more
  • Last pair I bought was in the 1980s (~£5). But I was kindly given a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators (~£100?). So, uh, £something.
  • I paid 12 dollars for my last pair and they have lasted almost 2 years. Expensive ones get lost quickly.
  • the most I have spent for sunglasses was $250. Now though around $100
  • Sunglasses? $150 tops, and only because it'd have to be perscription.
  • all my sunglasses cost $40 or less.

I used to work for an eyewear fashion mag — no guff — and wore $300 sunnies all the time. Now I have a $150 pair and a $9 copy for different occasions.

Every time I see one of these I'm struck with how cool Venice Beach boardwalk is. People are extremely outgoing and willing to talk. Seems like $10. is about what folks are willing to pay, though. even among the glitterari.

You shine there, Amanda. No wonder folks are doing pirouettes for you and offering their sunglasses to try on. Nice.

I went through pair after pair of $2 sunglasses, usually crushing or losing or snapping them in artistic frustration after a couple of weeks.

I decided to try curing myself of the habit and bought a pair of "certified color-neutral" glasses at an Army post PX for $38. I guess that's important when you're shooting at stuff, or something. They were great shades, they actually provided a clearer view of stuff. I had them for a year or so. I have absolutely no idea what happened to them.

The pair in my jacket pocket right now cost $1. Lesson learned.
