Down on Venice Beach, where sunglasses are a must, Amanda asks people how much $$ they invest in their ocular protection.

Episode Links: 1."If you're buying a pair, something like Walmart, K-mart and you're thinking you're getting a good deal on a $10 pair of glasses, they probably cost less than 50 cents to make," said Lois Olson, SDSU marketing professor. "If you're buying an expensive pair that costs $250, they probably cost $3."
2. Dr.Olson says some companies make a small portion of the sunglasses in Europe so they can stamp them as "Made in Italy", when in fact most of the manufacturing occurs in China.
3. "Not only watches, the demand for fake sunglasses, purses and premium pens are on the rise as well."
