We spend about 9 months here and the rest of the year in Puget Sound in the state of Washington. I was hoping I could watch your show as it was being shot here in Kauai.

Hi John – we did go to Kauai … but for pleasure, not to shoot. I ended up fracturing my arm though so maybe I should have been filming after all! It’s soooo beautiful! Probably my favorite Hawaiian island.. but I haven’t been to them all. Are you from there?

Gangplank seemed to be more about collaboration, undoubtedly. I think Daniel's concept is more about a pay-as-you go “office hotel”. Both good ideas but in many ways very different.

i've just started hotdesking at a place that is 45 minutes away from me via train. it's great, i drop in, setup on a desk and have access to 100mb fibre connection. it's brilliant. hoping to increase it to a few times a week. also setting up a web streaming studio seeing as they have the feed for good streaming

Beautiful place indeed…very sleek and yes, more of an “office hotel” than the communities we’ve seen in this series, especially the Santa Cruz model.

I still don’t ‘get’ that the “collaboration spaces” are closed off cubicles and that they have offices… does a true collaboration space keep everybody in their own areas? Idk just doesn’t make sense to me, but that’s why I’m at Gangplank – open and actually collaborative
