Who: Sometimesdaily is produced by a team of three people. ABC News & Amanda Across America star, Amanda Congdon, is what we like to call our front woman. She writes, edits video, executive produces and, of course, appears on camera! Her brother, and oftentimes co-host, faux conservative and trivia specialist, Andrew Congdon, does much of the writing for the show. And last, but never least, is ‘the man behind the curtain’, director, primary video editor, webmaster and all around nice guy, Mario Librandi. But the “who” doesn’t end with us, Sometimesdaily’s universe is made up of all our Twitter followers, Facebook friends and chat room commenters whose contributions are often featured in our episodes and serve as the special sauce in our web-based gumbo.
What: Sometimesdaily is an interactive online variety show. What does that mean? Throughout the work week Amanda and Co. tackle the topics of the day through short videos handcrafted for easy digestion, just like homemade pasta. These episodes include Amanda-on-the-Street interviews, road trip adventures, quirky skits and news vignettes. Because videoblogging is an interactive medium, we incorporate viewer feedback throughout the show.
Where: Though based in Venice, California, Sometimesdaily prides itself on being in all places at once… okay, not physically, but through our use of the world wide web! Actually, right now the SD crew has been cruising around the country visiting places of cultural interest and interviewing interesting people along the way. Sometimesdaily has also been privileged to cover Barack’s inauguration in D.C., Hillary’s campaign in West Virginia and plenty of events between the coasts too. On the web, Sometimesdaily can be found on blip.tv, as well as on our homepage, Sometimesdaily.com. Additionally, Amanda posts all SD videos to Facebook and Twitter. She responds to viewer comments, questions and insights daily. FLO TV is Sometimesdaily’s mobile home. If you have Verizon VCast Mobile TV or AT&T Mobile TV we’re on your preview channel! Can’t get enough of SD? Then you might want to watch us on your personal television or in your car. to learn more about Sometimesdaily check out our 60 second video about the show.
When: We bring you NEW videos 3-4 days a week.
Why: Because it’s more fun to laugh with your friends than at your enemies, and it’s not “killing time” if you’re having fun doing it.
